  1. Heavy snow. Everything caved with fast accumulating occurring. Eyeball looks like 1.25”.
  2. It’s pretty heavy rain here now. Time for sleep.
  3. CBS21 sticking with c-2” for most everyone south of MDT. Says it’ll be done by 9 am.
  4. I believe maps have always been way off - it’s just not cold and ultimately that matters. Even heavy snow can’t overcome 35-40 degree air for hours on end to do anything but be white rain. CTP has said main roads won’t be much of an issue at all but I think they need almost a diff warning criteria for travel with this type of system. Who really cares or remembers if there is a 10” car topper-only storm?
  5. That expands the heavy precip band quite a bit back N.
  6. Ha that’s fair. It’s very warm and heavy precip has to hit to cool the column. If it’s just moderate precip it’ll be rainy, windy and 40. That’d be a real shitty day.
  7. If rates aren’t as heavy it’ll eat fast at accumulation. We need heavy snow to get anything to stick.
  8. Someone north of Baltimore is going to be super confused tomorrow am.
  9. CTP just released its latest map. VERY rare to see “lower totals for areas north and west of Harrisburg”
  10. CTP literally seems to have no grasp on what’ll transpire. But it’s not just them. Check out all the changes from Mt Holly. As with any Miller A/B, aim low because busy chances are high and it’s here to be happy when it snows more than upset when you get blanked out. May the odds be in all your favor.
  11. My guess: State College: 1" MAG: 1" The Clearfield County boys: a trace MDT: 2.5" The Maryland border people: 2.75" York: 4" Lancaster: 3.75"
  12. Roads are pretty warm already so for them to get snow it'll have to puke for a while. Which it might, but once it slows down the melt will be very fast. It's 51 at my house right now.
  13. What a mess of a system. One saving grace is roads I don't think will be too horrible (I mean, they are PA roads so they're horrible on a 75 degree June day) but just a slushy mess.
  14. It's kind of like we live in the 1800s today. Will it snow? Maybe. Will it rain? Maybe. Will it be dry? Maybe. Wake up tomorrow, God willing, and find out.
  15. What a nightmare for schools and companies timing wise. It might not snow hard enough for roads to accumulate yet could at any time pour snow and make them impassable.
  16. What is the blizzard threshold? Might get it if the winds are not higher than 35 gusts.
