Some of our Archambault events have occurred in these change periods, Wouldn't it be fitting to for some to start out with a big event and go out with one and nothing in between this season and finish above normal................lol

I haven't looked at the models much recently other then today to start looking at late next week, But i'm guessing there must be a phase change around that time frame.

Yeah Tom, The GFS has not performed well at all no matter what some think, It was gawd awful on yesterdays system and i mean terrible for days and days with the thermal profile for our area.

Even the op for yesterdays up here in the last 8 cycles or so had 5-7" and i ended with 6.5", GFS was like 2.8" for several runs and way to warm as usual, Nam was all over the place and warm too, Never made it past 23°F yesterday.

Just scrap it and get it over with. Due to problems at NCEP, the 12z GFS Operational and other incoming NCEP models will be delayed.
