    Second half of 92-93 was cold. It flipped in early February and stayed cold til April. Had around 25-30" during those 2 months 1993-94 was of course very cold yet most of the storms were not pure snowstorms. Only 1 or 2 didn't have mixing

    Yeah it really missed the heavier totals further north where it had nothing. It did that with the Christmas eve event too.

    No 2 different storms. The late dec storm changed to a bit of sleet at the end but was primarily a snow event. The 1/11 storm was snow to sleet to heavy rain.

    I believe 97 was that surprise snowfall where not much was forecast and I remember watching the radar late at night and it just kept going until we got 3 to 4" by morning

    Yeah its been crazy but nothing like our first winter here when it was $1100 one month. We hadn't winterized yet and its a 100 year old house

    Why isn't it realistic that it would rain during a period of moderation? All 3 models have shown a similar solution which is now about 8 days away If there are signs that is changing and we could get snow instead I'll post that too

    Posting about a rainstorm that's showing up on multiple models is less realistic than posting about some fantasy snowstorm? Why can't we just talk about weather without hyping anything? The reality is that it hasn't snowed much this month and likely won't for at least another 10 days. Oh wait I forgot we have flurries tomorrow morning to get excited about
