TV mets already hyping this event. Naturally the potential snow line is just north of Dallas lmao

So tired of 33 degrees and raining. So, so tired...

15% contour added for parts of NTX up into Oklahoma on Black Friday. Not looking forward to it after what happened during the last event...

Looks like it will be close. Precipitation ends around dusk right before the temp drop to freezing, of course
Feels like that has happened a lot the past 5 years
-
Looks like mostly EF1- low end EF2 damage from the portion of WFAA's flyover that I saw. Would follow more but I need to sleep

If that map is accurate, Texas Instruments headquarters may have been hit. They're just northeast of the Home Depot that was destroyed, and right in the middle of the blue path.
Richland College might also have taken a direct hit. Also here is an update from DFW scanner
-
Dunno how accurate this is but the Home Depot near 75 and coit has definitely been mentioned as being destroyed so that part checks out

My analogs had Dallas slightly above average for snow I believe. Something like +10% or +20% if I'm remembering right.
Hoping you're right

Does anyone have any thoughts on winter for NTX? Hoping DFW can break its record snowless streak

For anyone complaining why everyone is making a big deal about this...if we sit idly by and say and do nothing then this will become the norm.
I'd definitely be double and triple checking any econ data between now and November 2020

What's even more disheartening is that these are otherwise smart and intelligent people, but they are completely blinded by pure politics. I've tried to get through to them and I can't. One of them told me today that I was 'alienating' them from the family and my response was "I'm so sorry - I thought Sharpiegate was a no-brainer!" It baffles me that they cannot see the truth or reason in all of this. They believe the sharpie map was real? Really? And the criticism of it is another CNN-driven-media conspiracy? Are they kidding me? My gosh...just shoot me already.

At what point do people (who haven't yet done so) have an epiphany that this guy is not well in the head, and that he is a danger as long as he is in power?
He's got NOAA compromising its integrity in service of his unlimited ego and stupidity. How the f is that acceptable to people? I cannot grasp that. And how do you function as a rational, viable person if you are incapable of a "my bad"?
I can't wait to see how long this stupid shit goes on. Weeks? How is that possible?
You're talking about a president who's only guiding principles are "get power" and "minorities bad." Unfortunately, a sizeable chunk of the country thinks the same way. If anything lies like this make him seem *more* appealing
