Went down the rabbit hole on Concord. January 2009 was 16° colder on average than 2023. That's unreal.

How much above normal? Can't be much. Been very cold here compared to recent years. S*** 2023 was 9° above normal. Concord had a couple torch days to start the month but since then it's been solidly below normal.

That's funny, I was out on one of my ponds today with my ATV. Guess I got lucky.

I can't complain . This weather has been perfect for me. Sustained cold, no snow and stiff winds to dry out the wood. Couldn't draw it up any better. Business is booming.

What are the conditions like? The wind must be blowing the snow right off the mountain.

Amazing how the big water hasn't frozen because of the winds. Certainly been cold enough.

And cold too. Sitting out at my nightly fire pit and my beer froze. And it's not like I was nursing it.

Not to defend TT but you're not going to run short on lollipops anytime soon. Rainbows either. We are approximately a third of the way through the winter.
