S+ Fluffy dendrites now. Much different flakes than an hour ago. Really piling up now. Going to wait to 8pm to measure.

Snow is definitely less icy now. Warm layer must be mixing out.

1.75" in Smithsburg. I'm about 7 miles from Hagerstown.

Definitely a warm layer all the way up to Smithsburg. Still snow but very icy. Definitely not fluffy dendrites lol. Ratios are awful.

Just got back from a 3 mile walk. Snow walks will never get old. Roads and sidewalks finally starting to cave. Currently 30 degrees with Moderate snow in Smithsburg. 1.25" so far.

I was just going to say that places that are getting snow, it should be getting easier to accumulate as we have heavier returns moving in from the west and the Sun beginning to set.

Light snow currently. 31 degrees. Had about .5 on the deck prior to the rates letting up,over the past hour. Looks like I've lost about half of it to melting during the lesser rates.

Temp down to 31. Moderate snow. About .25 on the deck. Sticking to most surfaces except for roads and sidewalks.

Nice. That would beat November 15th for me. I thought a couple storms might eclipse it but it never happened. (January 12th and February 20th.)

NAM looks to be a little south at 36hr. Compared to 18z

Imho the wave is trending slightly weaker which keeps it from gaining latitude.

Lwx is bearish for Sunday night. I'm a little surprised considering the trends. There discussion states that they are discounting the 00z GFS.

We need another tick south and it would be a huge hit out this way. As is it looks like 2 to 4 before flipping to rain. Euro has been slowing dropping south the last 3 runs. Hopefully that continues .
