  1. That’s 06 to 12z...not 12 to 18z
  2. Still a powerful storm..as you say for this time of year as well. Areas will see close to or exceed a foot. That’s a big storm, imo. Just not as widespread as models have been indicating.
  3. A big hit produces a storm. A storm is never going to be from a small hit. Wouldn’t be a storm just my opinion.
  4. Janice Huff and NBC very conservative. 6–10 extreme N NJ, 3-6 most of North NJ and NYC, 1-3 Central and south nj and Long Island. Thinks rain will keep totals lower everywhere. Hmmm
  5. That map and post was regarding last weeks storm.
  6. Think RGEM is way overdone with snow. Also think banding sets up just west of NYC. Where banding sets up will be over a foot. Doubt we see wide spread 12” totals..but I’m just an amateur.
  7. Euro big jump west. Nj crushed
  8. The more amped and powerful the storm, the more likely it gets tucked, correct? what is the main influence whether it’s closer to coast or farther east?
  9. NAM nukes Eastern PA and Most of NJ. wow wow wow.
  10. Most bullish professional map I’ve seen thus far. Wow..going all in on NAM it seems.

Agree. But wouldn’t the same apply if he calls for a an inch and 8 inches fall? That’s not great for his reputation either. Id think they call for what they think. That would be best for their reputation.

Must have updated. Last I saw 3-6 was in extreme NNJ. Most of NYC and NNJ were in trace-3

Not doubting you, but why do they play conservative? News loves extremes...so would think they’d be aggressive more than they are conservative. So if forecasters truly believe 3-6 is likely..they’re going to forecast a trace to an inch which is what many are? Thats very careless by them, imo.

This is much more in line with the pro forecasts im seeing online and on tv. Much more likely this is the outcome then the NAM totals, imo.

It’s as if what someone posts has ANY impact on what the weather will do. have fun with it!
