Dark skies should help a lot, but even now binoculars are essential here in NYC. By Thursday it may be hard to locate without a sky guide. Good luck, it is worth making the effort to see it.

Star gazing in the whites is incredible. I just hope the comet stays bright enough until I’m up there.

One thing is for sure, I will never care for celebrities anymore. They do nothing for our society. Sorry but not sorry

Today is a very sad day for me, my cat, my buddy Rusty, passed away a couple of hours ago, he lived a great life, he turned 21 back in January. I already miss him terribly. It’s a shame cats and dogs don’t live longer lives.....

My cat passed in November. He was my best friend. Slept next to me every night. It's been tough. Sorry for your loss. Pets are family.

It’s a good thing that Weather/Climate is wholly unaffected by individual comfort levels*, I want a string of 70’s right now but I’ll settle for what we’ve been getting.

*Oddly enough, EWR did reach 80 in February 2018, a mere 2 weeks after I made a post suggesting that very thing was bound to happen in the future.

But despite the mild temperatures this winter it hasn’t been consistently warm enough to disturb the already heavily disturbed natural environment from its slumber. Enjoy the not-cold weather.

I don't disagree but I will say there are buds on the trees outside my job in Manhattan from that 65 degree day back in January.

Kidding aside, is winter over here? I just checked in here for the first time in a few weeks.

I’m hoping that it doesn’t pop in for a visit in four weeks and leave our baseball fields a muddy mess into April.

    .

Based around the melodrama on here from the past couple of weeks I'd say the consensus would be that winter never existed in the first place.

Maybe the real treasure of winter was the friends we made along the way.

  6. Made it to our country’s newest National Park today. White Sands National Park is the closest you can get to snow without being in snow. People sled down the dunes. Truly a treasure. Recommend it if you ever find yourself in that area of the country.

I'm not complaining about the lack of snow as much as all the damn rain we've been having, it's kicking up my allergies already.  I want snow or dry sunny weather, nothing else.  I wouldn't mind no rain for like 3 months lol.

    How’s this for dry?f875QSR_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&f
