@SteveVa, this is a really weird graphic for the high end. 5"? Really? C'mon man.

I've been following this threat for a while but I kept quiet since I didn't think it'll impact MBY lol. Today's NAM is sucking me in though... I'd set the bar at 2" for RIC and trace/coating for ORF. Gonna be tough to get accumulating snow since boundary layer seems very toasty with surface temps in mid 30s. At least the timing is getting better, it's supposed to be a Monday evening/night event for my neck of the woods now. AKQ also upped the totals area wide for their forecast snowfall graphic.

Looks like my father and stepmom in Bethlehem will be getting between 9-12" of snow through tomorrow night. Wish I was there.

Do I wish this were January or February? Yes. But this can still deliver the goods even in March.

Let me go ahead and get this out of the way now regarding next week's potential........the sun angle is too high, the soil temp is too warm, the warm nose is too strong, there will be a dry slot, gulf thunderstorms will rob the moisture, no chance for anyone outside the mountains, and oh yeah the time changes next week so it will be daylight longer.  Did I miss any?

A monstrously large storm is forecast to impact much of the Eastern United States next weekend, bringing an abundance of weather hazards to a very large area. Heavy precipitation, strong winds, coastal erosion and flooding, and the potential for severe weather will all be possible in this storm. Geographically impressive, the area of low pressure is forecast to be very large, bringing rough weather from Florida to Maine and Illinois to North Carolina.

The mountains will have a chance, but doubful anywhere east of WS.

I need to vent as another day goes by as mass attempt is made to limit and there is really nothing else going on... global warming has reached a critical mass now and things are going to change on beautiful earth ... trees, insects, grass and trees. to be blunt, quinneaker is a person that has access to so much energy (but this is interdimensional) and this is used to dumb down things... you see this in government, the president, NASA, consciousness in general... meanwhile the globe is warming exponentially and this a symptom of the human mind. it's unconsciousness, or "brokenness". It's not anything else really, I can feel easily a declining earth population and global warming regressing. So the issue is control power and intent... another day

Partly cloudy and 78 degrees. Feels like a late April day here.

The pattern is so anamalous, Allen has not posted on Twitter in over a week.

Currently 71 and breezy. Hit a high of 74 today. Super high humidity of 83% right now.

The time around the 18th looks like a small window of opportunity if the LR GFS is to be believed.
