Glad to see we both could get in on the action. I’m a little to your southwest, on the norwell/scituate line. This was def a much needed soaker for the south shore and much of eastern ma too!
I hope that cluster exploding in southeast conn can survive the journey to eastern mass later. That is one hell of a squall line that’s blossoming to our southwest!
Feeling a little more muggy today. It’s nice to have it actually feel like summer again, at least ahead of the next round of moisture. Let’s see how wide the flood gates open up later!
Almost looks like your classic mid winter deform band setting up in the usual areas while the system slowly pulls away. But yeah, we’re catching up big time this afternoon in eastern mass. Finally getting the goodies!
Looks like some decent banding is finally setting up in eastern ma, esp around the south coast. It’s like a damn force field was over us much of yesterday keeping the best moisture at bay.
I always make sure to wear pants and a hoodie myself at the grocery stores this time of year. No matter what the conditions are outside, they always have the a/c on full blast. It’s no good for this lanky guy lol.
If we could just shift that area of heaviest moisture north and east about 150 miles that’d be fantastic. My arm is getting just a bit sore from trying to keep a bunch of newly planted annuals from withering. At least we’ve had a few quick downpours during this past heat surge to keep the dust clouds at bay.
Few rumbles here and a couple quick downpours but at least it’s something to keep things interesting. It’s been downright tropical out there this evening too. Haven’t felt this in a long time. Those outdoor patio chairs are starting to get a little sticky!
Western conn is just getting hammered right now from that complex heading south. Why do they keep stealing all of the fun out towards the western frontier? It’s not fair, damnit!
