Last day here in fla..someone’s gonna have to pry my moist, sweaty toosh off the beach chair to get me to leave

Let’s just say the nape has been fully bronzed these last several days, along with nearly everything else. But don’t worry gentlemen, I’ll be sure to bring as much of this bliss back north upon my return! It’s coming, hang in there baby.

Big boomers now..

Yeah this complex almost looks like a mini meso vortex on the last few loops. Areas just to my south, esp west of Plymouth are getting hit hard right now. Very impressive stuff for mid April!

Felt like a late-winter day out there with that chilly wind. Had to do a double take after checking the temp too. 36 for a high is pretty insane in early April, all whacked out climo aside. Of course, I’m sure when I go away for a family wedding late next week we’ll be torching into the 70s lol.

Sleet and a house shaking rumble, wtf!

Just finished the last round of raking and man it’s rough with that stuff breeze off the ocean. A basic hoodie and tee just ain’t cutting it today.

Was just sitting outside enjoying the those few glorious peeks of sun and warmth and like clockwork, it’s like someone turned on a giant refrigerator and we tumble back down again. Gotta love the bipolarity of early spring in New England.

I still have a few crusty, muddy, weenie snow piles hanging on in the far side of the back lawn. It’s pretty damn incredible considering all the rain and relative warmth we’ve had recently. That pack has practically been bulletproof since late February!

Another tree just came crashing down in the woods behind us. If I’m keeping count properly, that’s three so far this evening. Hopefully any non ravenous bears lurking nearby can kindly confirm these statements.

Nothing like a good pre-spring downpour mixed with a little thunder to get this ol weenie pumping! Let’s get those lawns nice and swampy baby.

The snow just doesn’t want to quit! I guess I’m staying true to my name today

A true blizzard by all accounts here on the south shore. Can’t even walk without getting plastered with snow and wind. Pretty sure I heard a few trees come down in our neighborhood when I was shoveling. I think we’re at 16” now and those bands are still dumping!

Much needed too! I’m at about my wits end with trying to slowly break up some of the ice on the roof. It was cool as hell though seeing a huge flock of robins drinking from a few tiny melted drops the other day on the shingles. They must be so desperate right now for any unfrozen sources they can get their claws on!

It’s all over. Shut em down, get them shorties out of the attic and let’s start tanning those beautiful napes baby!

The problem is there has been so little melting taking place these last couple weeks and any ice that’s formed just keeps building on the roof. I’ve been outside almost everyday since Friday trying to get it under control. It F’ing sucks in this cold.

No please, I’m done with clearing ice jams off the roof and sending my poor heart into overdrive. Let’s put that on the backburner (or shall I say back breaker) for 2027, mmkay?

That sun is starting to work it’s magic bit by bit. Soon we’ll all be outside tanning with full back nudity being par for the course. Come on tippy, let’s get this party started!

So the hose did a pretty good job today of at least opening up a few of the ice dams but man that temp needs to come up at least another 10 degrees or so to put a serious dent into the ice pack. We’re getting there though..might’ve got just a hint of color today with that ever so slowly rising sun angle!

It’s actually a bathroom located near a basement so it’s naturally much cooler down there and the pipes aren’t used as often. I have a small heater running in the garage but it’s barely made a dent in this cold. Thankfully I did manage to clear a lot of snow that was hanging on one side of the roof and then tomorrow I’m gonna try some hot water with a hose attachment inside to clear the dam, at least partially. This cold is brutal though man, had to keep coming inside to prevent my hands from fully freezing up! It’s no fun at all.

I mean relative to the last week or so lol..at least we should be out of the teens for a few days, it’s something man!
