  1. I can't believe I got another flooding rain this evening. Two rounds went through. The first round was the tornado producer. I was less then 5 miles from the affected areas. The lightning bombs it was tossing were impressive. I received 2.65" in a short time.
  2. One heck of a lightning storm here in the rainforest. I was driving over the Severn River bridge and witnessed some bad ass lightning bolts. Big ole thick long lasting bolts just bombing the Severn. Looks like more storm building back around DC. I got a 1.50" here at my house in about 30 minutes. Not severe but really fun storm.
  3. Severe in Mid Atlantic- A bunch of hype followed by a few showers. Maybe a 30mph gust in Glen Burnie lol
  4. Scattered high clouds here but more blue then clouds. Steamy
  5. .50" here in the rainforest last evening.
  6. Aww.. sorry for your lost. I lost my 10yo Maine Coon in July to cancer. It was sudden so that made it hard.
  7. Just seeded my fall salads greens. Cloudy, cooler and rainy would be ok with me. Radar looking much healthier the past hour for the DC area.
  8. Looks like this event will go down as a south of DC event. Southern MD getting crushed. Not much more then a showery day north of there.
  9. Looks like 1.35" here in the tropical rainforest of AA county last evening and overnight.
  10. Yup. And governor gives ok for school to fully open. Just ordered another 20 pack of N95 mask.
  11. I have a hard time getting excited about severe. I've said it many times. I've seen actual severe weather here like twice in my 41 years. We do better with slow moving flooders with lots of lightning.
  12. Radar looks super lame for central MD. Oh well.. i don't need anymore rain anyway.
  13. Crickets in here lately. It does look like a pretty boring stretch of weather coming up. Showers around this morning haven't amounted to much. 72 with sprinkles.
  14. 59 beautiful degrees around 6:30. Now up to 63 beautiful degrees. Can't wait for fall. Not looking forward to another 6 month long fall though.
  15. Where did all this rain come from. Looks like another rainy morning on tap here in the rainforest. Edit: And now thunder
  16. 2.00" overnight here in the swamps. Every time there's chance of a shower this summer I get at least 2 inches of rain.
  17. I'm getting use to the sound of pounding rain every morning and clouds of mosquitoes. This morning is no exception. What a surprise. More rain in the forecast.
  18. Just another 4"+ twenty four hour period here in the tropical rainforest of AA county. Looks like 4.10" since last evening. Almost 3 of those inches fell this morning. I've never seen it this swampy and nasty in my life. Mosquitoes are insane.
  19. Pouring again here in the AA county swamp jungle. Heavy rain developed right overhead and hasn't moved in 45 minutes. Probably getting close to another inch on top of the inch that fell last evening.
  20. Wettest summer ever ongoing here in AA County. Another inch in the bucket for today and still lightly raining.
  21. Yeah. I got 7.20" from the tropical storm and 2.85" last night. I said near 10" because I figured the trees might of interfered a little.
  22. My point and click has rain chances most of next week. I haven't been out to check how much fell last evening but I'd estimate 3". Close to 10" in 4 days.
  23. I'm jealous. I wanted to get on the rain train. Looks pretty lame up our way. Hopefully tomorrow produces. 79, cloudy and muggy
  24. Sitting out here watching the clouds start rolling in from the south. Bit of a breeze kicking up in the past few minutes as well. Weird vibe out here. Birds seems rather quiet. Something is definitely on the horizon.
  25. Lots of clay and organic material in this western shore soil. I actually added a bunch of sand to my garden soil this year. Really helped the drainage issue. I've been on the winning side of the thunderstorm rains this season.
