  1. 12/26/2004, nothing was expected 2 days out. 1 Day out 3-6 inches. Ended up with mesoscale banding right on top of me and got 14 inches of snow. The cutoff line was Williamsburg.
  2. I know exactly what you are talking about. It was early December 2000. I just kept looking at the radar waiting for the snow to cross the James River and it never did. Southern Suffolk, VA got about a foot and it was a sharp cutoff from there.
  3. Early January 2018 was the greatest snowstorm I have experienced. It was frozen before the storm so everything stuck. Straight up blizzard in the Hampton Roads. I got 12-14 inches of snow. The low pressure system was equivelant to a cat 3. I feel we will never see that again.
  4. I want snow too but I hate to say I was right. But, we shall see.
  5. If I'm wrong, I will admit it. We are tracking fringe fantasy storms 10-14 days out. We are desperate and I get it. But, it has always turned into rain the last 2 years. We need really cold air to make it down to these parts and I just don't see it.
  6. Unless Georgia gets snow, I don't like the look of the long range.
  7. It's hard to believe any winter could be worse than last winter. This one has a good shot.
  8. The angle of the cold air was all wrong to begin with. We are going to have to wait for mid February for a proper reload. Even then, who knows.
  9. I said maybe something in mid February. Everything before that looks like rain.
  10. At least we get a fantasy storm. We need more cold air though.
  11. It is sad that we are getting excited about a fantasy storm that is only a little snow.
  12. This feels like last winter. Everything is a week away. In this case, 2 weeks away.
  13. This feels like last winter. Everything is a week away. In this case, 2 weeks away.
  14. The low Sunday morning here was 18.5. I am currently at 19.8. This is the last of winter for a while.
  15. Yeah, don't worry yourself. It will be all rain.
  16. How cold did you get Wednesday morning?
