when you got a tpv parked on the other side of the apps western GL causing snow down to south texas and LA. Then you have a 1040 HP in Maine,almost Banana HP. Storm rides up apps where shallow cold air boundary cant cross over. We get waa over top of stout CAD from HP in NE.

It ends before change over. A 1040 HP sitting where models show is a recipe for a hard face slap in the frzng rn dept. We all know Cad will be deeper futher south as we get closer to thursday on models. This will be like last night on a ne wind,not se wind like those other minor insitu, hybird deals.

only goes out 144. Lot of this would be more. Alot is also sleet NC , frzng rai in SC

Greensboro is BN Dec,Jan and now almost -3 Feb. 4 events with flakes. Pitfall is they all 4 total like 1.5.. But still way better than seasonal forecsat issued late Nov.

Everything is whitening up here except roads. Mod- to occasional burst of heavy snow

The TPV gets monkied with up top. It'll roll out to another solution. Things placement are harder for models to predict than NAO out past 5 days. Not saying this might not be accurate, but it will keep shuffeling around good or bad. intrested to see EPS now.

Winter may just be getting started per the euro ensembles: Gonna be a fun 10 day stretch, maybe longer

Learned tracking last weekend, that models had to adjust every cycle with tpv placement. Mostly ticking south every run. The press gets in the right sweet spot , its gonna be "Glory". Hopefully we are playing with house money after Sat/ sun event.

Its below freezing all over triad now. Fog is pretty thick with echoes popping up on radar. Windy out of the north as oppossed to se,sw last night.
