I'm right on the Iredell/Rowan border right off HWY 801,youre a good 3 or 4 miles from me.That can make a huge difference when it comes to pop up t-storms.

Got 0.27''today,enough to cool it off. 2.87'' for the month.

I never expect cooler weather anyways till the first 5 or 10 days of October, September for the most part is still warm and humid here but on occasion you do get lucky and it cools sooner.

Got 0.74'' yesterday, up to 2.60'' for the month.

Another .34'' from a cell that was moving southwest last evening,almost 2'' for the month.

Got .73'' from a morning t storm around 11 AM,still cloudy and spitting rain.

Got .87'' here from a severe t-storm today. Probably the worst storm this summer,winds approaching 60 mph and pea to marble hail.

Storms fired early today around 11 30 AM, picked up 1.02'' from a localized cell. Gets me over 6'' for the month.

Picked up .88" this evening. Pushing 17'' over the last 37 or 38 days.Only takes a couple tenths of rain to stand in the yard.

1.32'' so far today. Over 16'' in the last 35 days or so.

2.10'' so far on the 1st day of August.

1.04'' this morning. Up to 12.34'' for the month.

.46'' this morning Up to 11.30'' for the month.

4.30'' here in the last 12 hours or so. Gets me over 10'' for the month.
