Looks like most of that first band has been pushing away to the NE and the sky is starting to brighten. Sun is trying to pop out but in this tropical-like regime, it will probably struggle with the overcast sky and small pockets of precip.  Got 0.04" rain so far this morning. Temp 75F with dp 72F.

Yeah...that just diminished. Thought for sure I would get more. I want sideways heavy rains....lol .01 so far....that's just pathetic. Stuff around Pitt heading this way though...

SPC just threw up severe thunderstorm watches for the area.  I was surprised that it pretty much cleared out and the sun has been out all afternoon.  Temp hit 87F for a high (so far) today here and curently 85F & partly cloudy.  Dews still in the 70s.

Looks like some spin showing up near Doylestown....

Yep...exactly. I can hear the thunder and super dark clouds to my North. It's going to miss me by a hair but probably some fun up there (more North)...damn-it!!!

Under a heavy rain band.  First bursts of rain started just after 4 am, peaking @ >2"/hour rate ~4:30.  Currently getting similar rates and am up over 1 1/3" total rain so far for the event over the past 2 hours @ post time.  Currently 73F and heavy rain.

Just hit the 2" mark.  Temp 70F w/moderate rain.  The edge of the band is approaching so may be done within the next half hour or so.

Ended up with 2.65" according to Wunderground but yeah was awaken around 4am by heavy rains slamming the window.

It was a pretty decent band too.

In fact, there was a tornado warning issued across Gloucester and Camden Counties this morning so wonder if anyone from there saw anything?

Probably should post everything in the Rtd208 "E PA/NJ/DE Summer 2017 OBS Thread"  since Spring is done and to keep things simple.

*Days are shorter...Winter is right around the block!!!

Yeah I had already put my final total in that summer thread when I saw one was created.
