cdmwx Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Hey guys, Just wanted to share the latest info on the 40th Anniversary Northeastern Storm Conference, which will be held at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs, NY from Friday March 6 - Sunday March 8, 2015. This is where we held the conference for many years until the early 2000s. You can find a lot more on the conference at http://www.lyndonams.com/nesc2015/. We are also now accepting paper/poster abstracts through February 6. Registration will open on January 12th. We have a really exciting lineup of keynote speakers this year, in addition to the typical excellent range of paper/poster presentations. Friday Night: Jim Cantore, TWC Saturday Lunch: Dr. Tom Bogdan, UCAR President (and former Space Weather Prediction Program director) Saturday Dinner: Dr. Louis Uccellini, NWS Director (and, of course, co-author of Northeast Snowstorms) Sunday Morning: Paul Kocin, WPC (co-author of Northeast Snowstorms) We're also working on a number of other exciting events and additions. Turtle Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 The conference was AMAZING! All keynote speakers were fabulous! Over 400 attendees..blew all previous records out of the water! Chris McCray (cdmwx) and the entire conference committee did an incredible job in pulling this anniversary conference together.
