Tangentially related and something that was already fairly well known, and being reinforced by V2 work is that tornadoes can have decently strong ground circulations without a condensation funnel or debris cloud for quite some time. For the Goshen County tornado, there was a ground circulation for ~10 minutes before there was a condensation funnel at the surface. That's a long time and another reason all traditional funnel clouds should be TOR warned.
