  1. Thank you for this message because even though I don't post much, I still enjoy the topic when it hasn't been taken over by off topic or spammy information. I will report anything suspicious if it pops up as I think that person may have returned under another account.
  2. I will be back from my trip just the weekend before and will be flying in to Columbia, SC. I will be in the perfect spot to view this in my area. I plan on bringing along my mother and grandmother with me if they are up to the drive. I hope that the weather holds for this event. Praying for clear weather.
  3. Well it is the 2nd season of tornadoes. Will be watching this very closely to see if anything pans out.
  4. Hello! I am a current student in the Geosciences Learning program at MSU and I hope I can offer you some helpful information regarding this program. When I first signed up, I was advised that it is necessary to complete the certificate program first in order to complete the full bachelor's program. However, after your first 12 hour credits after enrollment, you can formally be entered into the major program while completing both your certificate and degree. The coursework consists of your typical classes that focuses on operational met and broadcasting met, also includes intro to physical and world geography, severe weather, emergency planning, etc. The professors are very helpful and the advisor is also helpful in setting up your courses and answering any questions you may have about your coursework. That is pretty much the summary of what this program consists of but if you have any specific questions, you can ask away and I hope I will be able to help!
  5. Thank you so much for the helpful information. I will take advantage of these resources and getting to know everyone here on this board. This is great to have and track!
