Up to 2.75” of rain but little to no wind. Not even breezy.

Lowest surface pressure I can find is 990. Anyone else?
Lowest I saw was 992 of SC coast. NAM still going with 5” imby. Should be an interesting night.

But upton said only 2-3 inches!
To be clear I meant somewhere along the east coast as a whole. I do think someone in the mount Holly and upton area could see 6+

Already seeing 4-5” areas in SC under training 40/50 Dbz Bands. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone sees a foot from this storm

Anyone have a favorite radar showing larger picture?

First time I can ever remember modeling being so consistent for 3-5” of rain imby. Hoping no winds over 35 for the power outage element.

All things pointing to 2-4” here in central and northern nj. Winds could gust past 40. Should be a nice little storm. Wish it was white and not wet but provides something interesting to track on a Sunday afternoon and should make some of the games more fun to watch

Ok not too terrible. Appreciate the quick response!

Horrible with interpreting wind maps and hate to be the IMBY guy. But what would north central NJ be looking at for winds with this roughly. I live in morris county so not too close to the coast but only about 30 miles west of NYC

Far from perfect here on the south shore, still only 34 here. Wind off the water is going to do that though so not surprised
Wait. 34 and not 33 or 31 ;) - literally who the hell cares if there is no precip associated. I love weather and storms but the constant talk about low temps when it literally doesn’t matter at all without precip is fascinating to me.

Why did he weenie me? It's a legit trend on digging the vort further south and closing off.
Literally who who cares about an emoji. I swear my 5 year old son is more mature than half the people in here. And complains way less too. People here cry over the difference of 36 vs 31 degrees. It’s become a place to just come vent frustration.

Went from expecting 3” and strong winds which would at least have been exciting to now about an inch and light winds. Fun winter and not even talking about the lack of snow

The Nam Is laughable with the snow depictions all the way to the coast.

Looking quiet for most of the area from a snow perspective through end of month. Hopefully a few storms in the JFM period but hopes not particularly high.
-
I don’t understand all the complaining over 36 vs 33 vs 31. It would be one thing if precip was in question but can’t wrap
my head around someone caring about a 2-4 degree difference on a normal fall night. If you stood outside are you gonnna know the difference between 34 and 31?

Meh not a big deal
For a lot of people it hurts birthday and family plans. Not just about you.

Incredible gradient. Finished with just about half an inch in Morristown area

0z HRRR has us right near the edge of the very heavy stuff. Go west into Somerset County and amounts drop off to very little. Extremely close call for our area.
I’m in eastern morris county. Could see .20 or 3” - neither would surprise me.

Just topped 4” for the event. Luckily winds haven’t been bad IMBY or we’d be having some major issues
