    Looks like it’s winding down here. Maybe another 30 mins or so of light rain. Trees definitely have ice in them, but doesn’t appear to be too much. The last worry is the winds that are expected early in the morning- that could still bring down limbs and power lines…

    Heavy rain now… I would guess a lot of this is not freezing until it gets to the ground due to the heavy rates?

    Don’t disagree, however where I sit in Greenville(right on I-85), the is currently zero ice in the trees. I think just north of downtown has more ice. I’m sure it’s coming, but praying I stay below .4” of ice, which might keep power on in mby

    Yeah- I don’t care about the roads; can deal with staying off of them for a day or two. It’s the trees and power lines that have my attention..

    Yeah- count me as someone who is getting concerned again. Nothing more I can do at this point..it’s gonna do what’s it’s gonna do. Got the generator gassed and ready….

    Agree 100%- I’ll gladly keep my power here! I guess my only beef is the complete and utter garbage that these models are. I really think the US government needs to invest some serious federal dollars to improve them. I swear, the Mets during my childhood here in the upstate (Charlie Gertz!) were MUCH better with MUCH less! Why is that???

    Was planning on a weekend at the beach this weekend, but couldn’t stand being down there , not knowing how my house is faring here in Greenville..
