  1. Man-sorry you guys have missed the rain. Us update SC folks have been hammered lately. Lake Hartwell currently 2' over full lake level, after being down almost 8' in early December..
  2. Here is a novel idea….if you don’t want to read/hear about, stay off the board. Good grief, the guy is just discussing what he sees, and what the models might be showing. This whole nonsense of ‘rooting for cold weather’ is utterly ridiculous. Guess what, the weather is going to do what it’s going to do, regardless of what we ‘root’ for.
  3. I’m headed to Whistler for some skiing in 2 weeks. It’s been bad there most of the season, until now! At least I’ll see snow this year, just hate I have to go to Canada to see it.
  4. We NEVER do well in upslope events. I've lived in Greenville all my 53 years, and the snow from those type setups always seem to stop at the Cashiers/Highlands area. Moisture cant ever make it over those mountains..
  5. Highlands? That's in NC, although there is the very thin strip of Mts in Greenville, Pickens, and Oconee counties...
  6. Here’s how bad it’s been for the SC folks… https://wyff4.com/article/south-carolina-only-state-no-snow/46860399
  7. We're late in the 4th quarter by then, at least in the upstate of SC...
  8. Just keep it out of the Southeast as long as we can! Its hot enough here now..
  9. Sweet! Ready to get my boat out on the water! Gotta find the good in every season!
  10. Agreed. Thinking back to the pre-Christmas threat, when GFS and others were showing action in the SE, but the Euro never caved, and proved to be right. So thinking/hoping its gonna lead the way this time..
  11. You seem to forget 2020. High Christmas day was 30 here in Greenville..
  12. 'EURO is out to lunch and still seems to be handling the energy out west poorly' Why do we always say this when one model doesn't show what is 'wanted'. Maybe the EURO is handling the energy correctly..
  13. And to add to this, looks like the long range has 90s here in the upstate. That'll further dry up the ground, and I'm fearful that we might be looking at a dry, hot summer. Hope I'm wrong..
  14. Just keep it cold & snowy in Utah when I'm there next month!
  15. Yeah, but living in a climate that rarely gets above 70 means you live in the upper mid west. I'll pass!..
  16. Good Lord man, I wouldn't trade Carolina weather with ANYONE! And I've lived here all 51 years of my life..
  17. ...and i hope the West gets winter in Feb into March. Going to P City for Spring break, and the last month has been terrible for snow there..
  18. For upstate folks, Greenville especially, its been a GREAT winter, biggest snowfall in years, and pretty consistently cold the whole month of January. I have to give it an 'A'. I wouldn't mind spring at this point...
  19. Push that low just off the coast about 75 miles and the upstate folks would be very happy!
  20. We also need to remember that what's not good for MBY, might now be the case for someone else's.
  21. That map tells me I need to go to Wolf Ridge ski resort tonight to see the 4-6"...
  22. IMO, collage football has the OT correct. To make going last fair, each team switches turns going first.,.
