Mt. Holly’s AFD, you love to see it. Starting Friday beautifully with afternoon storms likely, followed by a perfect summer weekend, unless you're cloudy cool mcbirds. Early June may win most enjoyable weather award. Just hope the storms pan out.

Mike calling out Birds (probably me as well)!

Short range mesos don't look overly impressed with storms this evening, but mother nature is gonna do what's she's gonna do.

  2. That was one of the more intense storms in some time. Winds were just your typical thunderstorm gusts but the rain rates were torrential, picked up a quick .50” in 20 minutes or so.

Also, that’s the first time I’ve seen hail here since 2009 or so. Finally, lost power for a few minutes.

Mowed lawn today before tomorrows rain. Jet sprayed pollen/bird crap from the car...it was pretty thick. I'll still take downpours/T-storms tomorrow.

Looks like 6/21 we start losing daylight. (-.01 sec) then the ball starts rolling/increasing downward...

Some are now trying to recast Winter 2023-2024 as "one of the coldest on record" in the Northeastern U.S. In fact, Winter 2023-2024 edged out Winter 2001-2002 as the warmest on record in the Northeast. It was also among the least snowy ones on record. As a result, Boston reached 816 consecutive days without 4" daily snowfall today (old record: 711 days).

My historically low heating oil bill this past winter would disagree with the above statement.

Near the top of the chart for cloudiest May after already securing the cloudiest January this year. I'm sure it's all perfectly normal. Weather World says this pattern continues through mid June. Year without a summer?

    PLEEZE!!!

This spring reminds me of 2003...stayed damp & chilly well into mid June that year.
