  1. Too bad it isn't winter. Any coastal on the long- or medium-range models would morph into nothing more than a lakes cutter with a trailing frontal passage for us. Gorgeous morning out there for an un-Jeb walk, 49F.
  2. After last evening’s rain cleaned off my car, I walk out this morning to find fresh bird $hit on it. Come on man!!
  3. About an inch of junk and stuff yesterday. The lawn looks happy. 56F
  4. Just rain here, none of that hail junk. No wind either. Just a good old fashioned gully washer.
  5. Hopefully it washes the junk and stuff off my car. 77F
  6. About .20" early this morning, just enough to turn the pollen on the cars into a cake-batter-like substance. 54F
  7. Just some random drops today. At least the temp and DP are more reasonable this evening… 63F/DP 58F
  8. Backloaded spring! 76F/DP 65F with darkening skies to my south.
  9. Topped out at 88F yesterday. Currently 72F with an unacceptable DP of 65F for April. Hoping for maybe a passing shower today.
  10. I've lived here for 20 years and have never had as many fallen pinecones in the yard as I do this spring. It's not just one tree, they're all over the front and back yards. I want to say it's due to the mild winter, but we've had plenty of mild winter in the last 20 years. Probably nothing more than the natural life cycles of the conifers themselves? But if anyone is an amateur arborist, I'd be interested in any theories. 65F
  11. I was hoping you would comment on this. Always curious to see what if any impacts eruptions could have on our local weather down the line.
  12. Maybe denser cloud cover down that way? 53F for a Saturday high here. God bless the “drought”! I was able to get some yard work in today w/o being up to my ankles in springtime mud.
  13. You made me think of Leave it to Beaver..."Hey Wally, there's a bunch of junk and stuff on the radar." Only about 0.03" last night. Drought begets drought. 53F
  14. Clouding up, but not expecting more than a heavy shower at best, 72F/DP 62F. Looks like it's gonna be one of those upside down years where Christmas was cooler than Easter. Go figure.
  15. The guy across the street mowed last evening. I can tell my lawn is about to pop. These next 3 warm days should do it. 74F
  16. Wouldn't mind touching 90F sometime this month. I'm sure there's no correlation, but seems the few time we've hit 90F in April, we have a cool summer (1976, 2009). 62F
  17. About .90” of rain yesterday. Severe aspect aside, very typical event for us over the past six months or so—storm passed to our NW, trailing cold front comes through with precip, temps drop for a day behind the front, then they quickly rebound. 44F
  18. I was at dinner in Skippack as the line came through. From what I saw, very heavy rain, intense lightning, but not much in the way of wind. Didn’t see any hail either. Power was still on when I got home.
  19. Currently 72F but DP is only 49F…not sure what to make of that.
  20. I wouldn’t be surprised if a tornado or two pops, especially in NJ. It seems it’s the new tornado capital of the Mid Atlantic in recent years. 63F with a heavy shower passing through.
  21. Survived this morning's HECS on my occasional ride to the office. But I did have to scrape my windshield before hitting the road, so there's that.
