Decent storm here but the severe aspect is passing to my south. Temp down to 70F.

I went to bed early last night, what I miss? Seriously, that was awesome! As Mikeymac said, non-stop lightning and thunder. Seemed every time things were about to settle down, another round was incoming. Looks like I missed out on the heavier rates just to my SE (I bet even Birds got a little more than me). Still, about 1.70" event total here. 67F/DP 66F

How much of that is virga? We need Kamu obs as it pushes north. Been watching reports from St. John's regarding the missing submersible. I see the reporters and ppl in the background wearing jackets. I googled the weather there and it was in the low 40's. Just added St John's to the possible retirement spots (although being on the coast, they probably deal with changeover issues). 66F/DP 56F

Nice thing about this time of years is we don't have the added complication of worrying about the dreaded rain/snow line. Just gotta split the uprights.
