  1. That was one of the more intense storms in some time. Winds were just your typical thunderstorm gusts but the rain rates were torrential, picked up a quick .50” in 20 minutes or so. Also, that’s the first time I’ve seen hail here since 2009 or so. Finally, lost power for a few minutes. 60F/DP 58F
  2. I think we can put the cows back in the hanger for the night. Maybe some brightening skies earlier today, but mainly stuck under cloud cover. Rain totals .75” so far. 71F/DP 69F
  3. Doesn't seem to be much convection with what's rolling through now. Not much sun today and I imagine the current showers aren't helping with instability. But what do I know? Currently rain, 72F/DP 71F
  4. Hearing thunder from a little cell trying to get its act together over me. 80F/DP 69F
  5. Couldn’t stand it any longer, took a hose to the car to wash off all the pollen. Driveway covered in green brine. 86F/DP 61F
  6. Whole lot of nothing here, just clouds and a breeze. Would be happy with just a shower to wash the pollen off the car. 72F/DP 64F
  7. My historically low heating oil bill this past winter would disagree with the above statement.
  8. Need rain, car covered in pollen again. 72F/DP 65F We start losing daylight again a month from now
  9. Certainly not hot but not chilly either. Old folk wandering around the grocery store wearing parkas like there’s an incoming MECS. 73F/DP 61F
  10. PLEEZE!!! This spring reminds me of 2003...stayed damp & chilly well into mid June that year.
  11. Agreed! Fortunately I got to see it in November 2003 (if I remember correctly).
  12. Hellz yeah...a little more than a month to go and we start losing daylight again!
  13. Best day of the spring so far, 48F with rain. I could take an entire summer like this!
  14. Just enough rain drops on the windshield to turn the pollen into a shamrock shake, 54F.
  15. I remember reading once that, while tropical eruptions can lead to cooler summers, they tend to produce warmer winters. If we what an eruption that leads to cooler winters for us, we need the eruption to take place in the northern latitudes. Any truth to this? Did I misread or am I remembering this incorrectly? Hoping someone more knowledgeable than me (which is most of you) can chime in. Thanks!
  16. Topped out at 79F today, much better than the crap that was yesterday. Dews still a bit unacceptable at 65F.
  17. Frost and junk on the car this morning, bottomed out at 30F. Temp already rebounding to 45F.
  18. I looked out a little earlier and thought it was ripping’ fatties…n’ah, just cherry blossoms
