The lack of wind with this system has made for a spectacular scene. Easily have 7" here on the SE side of Cincy.

Year upon year of misses to the NW....finally nice to see an OVER Performer!

Hey! I grew up just north of Cincy and know all about the legendary misses. I like your pic of legendary Tony Sands! He was a snow nemesis. He seemed to hate snow!

At least we have snow on the ground, but, yes, suppression always a concern, especially with cold of this magnitude.

The last of my snow cover down here melted yesterday. Trying to start over tonight but it doesn't look like much. #Jennings

We've actually had around 13" down here in Jennings county this winter; a lot of 1 -3 inchers back in late Nov. and December. All but one melted the next day so it seems like we've had nothing!  Lol...

Still about 75% snow cover down here in N.Vernon after 2 days of sun and 30's. Should be washed away by Sunday, however..

Ended up a bit of an overachiever here, very comfortable saying 2 1/2" but feel it may be closer to 3". Hard to tell with the drifting that took place. Definitely better than 10:1 ratio, would guess 13-15:1, was an easy shovel when I got home.

Will be our highest event total for sure on the season. I'd trade it for the weekend heavy band in a heartbeat though.

Drive home looked like IDOT may have been caught a bit off guard locally.

    Onto the next one.

They called for  <1" here. Have close to 4" IMBY. .

You guys are all so lucky. Tired of storms missing us down here or looking good then suddenly sailing east 3 days out

I hear you, guy. I'm down here west of Cincy and this year has been terrible. I sometimes think the OV should have its own regional page. Our weather is so different from the Lakes region..
