  1. I’m assuming he meant me. He already told me I need to move to Youngstown today.
  2. And I never said it, but all the trolls in this board are contorting what I said. I said the models teased us but this was always a long shot and I’d be happy if we squeezed out a few inches.
  3. Radar looks great north of the city. Moderate snow in Wexford.
  4. KCLE also looks like they hit blizzard criteria overnight. Had 4 hours of quarter mile visibility and 35-40 mph gusts.
  5. Sounds about right. I’d imagine they had a lot of “taint” as far as sleet. It looked like for a bit we were in the game for that sort of outcome but the front stalling destroyed that
  6. I lied too. I was looking at storm reports from last night in NE Ohio around 6-7 and many places already had 4-8 inches then. Many places likely ticked up to 10-12 inches. Oh well, this was never our storm, it just got way closer than we thought just to tease us.
  7. This isn’t climo, it’s just awful luck. I don’t think any huge totals verified in NE Ohio because ratios were horrific, but a lot got 6-10 inches and I saw Crawford county got a foot. Just kind of amazing the front stalled for a good 12 hours or more in a spot that made us 33 and rain while 50 miles nw it snowed.
  8. It isn’t just you. It looks like we are being split perfectly by the two bands of precip. Too bad as I think we could have gotten a few inches.
  9. HRRR and RAP are still insisting on a pretty decent 4-6 inches across the county. Guessing the NWS isn't buying it.
  10. I've flipped to fairly heavy sleet in the last 20 minutes or so. Starting to accumulate.
  11. I am NOT going in to work on time tomorrow. I will have several good excuses, such as I can't even get out of my parking lot and I can't get into my car.
  12. I just went outside, and hearing the trees move in the wind with the ice is a real sickly sound. If it does this for a few more hours there will be massive issues.
  13. Airport reporting snow, but wouldn't be surprised if that was sleet. Tried to check traffic cameras out near there on the parkway but they are all out...maybe a power outage?
  14. 0z HRRR Drops 3-6 inches of snow on the backside from the SE to NW over the county. I think we would all be thrilled with that, though not sure if that includes sleet.
  15. Hopefully this is a sign we flip to sleet faster. Temps are still falling REALLY slowy in AGC though.
  16. Ehh, think about it though. If you throw an ice cube into a cup of ice water and put it back into the fridge it will take forever for it to melt. Same thing here. Rain falling at 33 degrees isn't going to really melt much at all.
  17. GFS handled this horribly here. It had been saying that we would be ice and below freezing all day and we rained until just about now.
  18. I saw that too, but I think there must have been something going on with the output. I just went back and looked at the last 2-3 runs and all gave 1-4 inches county wide.
  19. Because you complain as much as me yet complain that I complain.
  20. No real ice accrual yet outside in ROss where I am at, but I can see the cars starting to freeze up. Also, anywhere there was standing pooled water it is starting to freeze into a nasty mess.
