    As soon as it dries out a bit we will be golfing. Some places are open as is. If we can get a stretch of dry weather golf in the first few weeks of Feb could be excellent. Suns warm and with no wind, it’s nice to get out there

    My brother closed on a house Monday. Has sump, but previous owners said no water down there in 10 years. Well wouldn’t you guess it, they haven’t moved in yet, and him and his fiancé went there this afternoon to paint and there was 8” of water in the basement. What a disaster.

    Yeah my brother in law started in 2018 and has never seen anything like this. Dont want to speculate too much, but I’ve heard there is a good chance the third child is not going to make it, and that the moms condition is much more grave than has been indicated.

    Crazy. My brother in law is a firefighter in town, wasnt on shift, but did come in immediately following to relieve the crew that was on. His wife is an ER nurse at BID Plymouth, and was there when children arrived. It was horrific and something they’ve never seen, by there accounts.

    Exactly, the goal posts are shifting. The only winter weather most have seen is on day 10 ensemble maps, and that doesn’t look to change anytime soon. Maybe we run into one at some point, but I think people need to be very careful taking the cheese on any good looking threats until we are very very close in.

    There are a lot of seasoned vets really reaching at this point too, which I’m kind of surprised at. But it also shows just how shitty it’s been. To be honest, a lot of these OP runs look exactly like they have all winter. Basically, what degree of cutter are we getting. We literally can’t sneak a bonafide SNE threat in on the models anytime closer than 10 days out. People are reaching for miracles at this point

    Most people are. I think most have reached a point where they are immediately skeptical. Nobody wants to see day 15 ensemble means at this point, or day 10 snowstorms. Not a single one has produced squat this year.
