I don't know how much fell, but there's 1/2” remaining on the deck here (Silver Spring inside Beltway). Everything looks more wet than snowy.

No stickage on exposed surfaces here in SS/20910. Honestly the snow is more of a flurry at this point though.

First flakes trying to mix in Silver Spring now. 36.5 deg.

Best snowflakes of the week right now. Not the best ever, but better than that sand from three days ago!

Ice is more of an issue today than Tuesday. I'm seeing 30.1 degrees on my outdoor weather station and the clouds are letting in enough sun that there's steady drippage from the roof line now. It's making some fantastic icicles but some nasty slicks on the driveway.

Right about 2" of new snow today in downtown Silver Spring and currently its very, very lightly snowing

It's a Friday, though. The critical workers will be onsite no matter what OPM says and the less critical will choose to telework.

Just reached 1" here near the MoCo/DC border. Light snow. Maybe 30 minutes left on this batch?

Even MCPS made the call early enough to plan for. Remarkable.

Hate to agree with this because any snow in March isn't disappointing, but yeah, so far just a regular slushy snow with the occasional gusty breeze. 

Very light with little accumulation the last hour or so. 32.5 and streets are just wet here near downtown Silver Spring. 

All snow at 33.5 in downtown Silver Spring.

You ain't kidding. At 5:55 AM it was 46.8 IMBY and by 6:10 it was 41.2. 

Just drove from Greenbelt to Silver Spring. Was really ripping massive fatties along the way, but no accumulation yet. 

CAE is over 1" for the first time since Feb 2014 per NWS.
