I'm not going to lie, the model differences at this point just have me....confused. Relative to our area, they are just all over the place.

I agree, close but pingy for that period. Still think northern areas get the jack...less qpf, but no changeover issues

WB has it as sleet or something according to Will's map. You have the sounding? Sometimes WB paints sleet in snow/close snow situations ETA: Nevermind. Saw you edited and said you checked the sounding

Not going to bother with SV accum maps. Gonna ask the WB people to do the lifting there. Not a bad run for the metros. We all get 6 with more as you go south from M/D line. Just SE of DC is 10" where the NAM has like 1. lol

Moderate snow at 9z for everybody. Temps no issue..seems a tad colder vs 6z

Closing in at 3z. Snowing at 6z Edit to change 9z to 6z

Confluence is definitely a bit stronger, but nothing earth shattering at 33hr

So far, just a slight bit more confluence on the GFS. Not huge by any means.

Euro moved north by about 40 mi with the heaviest stuff

Very good, very cool run. Sold. No temp/thermal issues. NAM might be on its own with the thermal stuff. Or it could be picking up on something. We shall see.
