Moisture starting to develop in the middle of the country...finger pointing toward us..but thermals look worse than 12z so far...BUT CAD not getting started yet

Sw in the pacific off of cali cut off, whereas before it was phasing in with another s/w. Maybe not a bad thing. There is still another s/w that phased into it..or whatever...but it's weaker so far. Nothing jumps out attm

Yeah, out west GFS h5 is vastly different for that wave that produces our ice storm from 12z. Anemic out there

so far GFS similar for that 22nd thing if anybody cares. Now back out west, H5 is different. Shocker. Less s/w energy, weaker. Might not be a bad thing...we'lll see

Something else seems to be going on or getting ready to out west, but again..I can't see H5 maps that match with the precip maps that are well ahead..so can't really see what's going on upstairs to get a feel for anything.
