    Slop is a mix of mangled wet snowflakes and rain. This is all frozen. February isn't May 1st. Snow has accumulated in the day in late March, and that was without a strong CAD/wedge.

    Same man. This was never supposed to be all snow. In fact, it looked like way more rain than anything. The snow is a bonus, we were set for sleet/zr. I'm excited. Any winter weather person here would be if they had reasonable expectations.

    I'm def shocked. At 51, precip field is definitely smooshed more toward the East vs 18z. Smooshed is a meteorological term btw.

    It's dumb. Always has been and it used to irritate me with the "see, you started a thread, that's why the storm isn't happening". Yes, because parcels of air and temperatures are sentient and check this board before deciding what to do. I'm zen about it now. I may just start it anyway. Not sure why I'm bending to this superstition shit. I'm going to at least let the GFS come in first.
