Agreed for sure but does it end at 4:15 or 6:15 here and then subsequently places in RVA and Hampton roads etc? 2 hours could mean two extra inches and more problems on the road. My buddy called me and said 64 was slushy near Mechanicsville.

Interesting that the radar returns on weather bug are expanding somewhat to the north and west of Glen Allen. Not sure if that’s just something that lasts a very sort time or brings a couple more hours of moderate snow. Still snowing moderately here though.

FWIW 12z Euro has more qpf for snow. And looks like wants to have more than 2” total and if you’re in the “dark blue” even more. So add that to the NAM 3k and to a point latest GFS

32° now close to heavy snow! Mulch and grass is starting to whiten up. Off of exit 51a 295 Nuckols Rd.

0z NAM makes little sense to me. But expected NAM hiccups anyway.

Yes- A good spread overall for RVA. Need it to get rolling AFTER the sun goes down Sunday.

18z NAM Kuchera shows same snow amounts for RVA as 12z. It also expanded heavier snow a little northward and quite a bit eastward.

12z NAM just now. Way early for NAM probably but gives an idea. This is Kuchera scale not 10:1 so more realistic. Would be a nice hit in RVA

I had the same thought but look af the last two returns on the radar and I’ll see a push back westerly is occurring. Here we go!

This! We must be neighbors lol. I live off of Staples Mill at Montpellier a couple miles from there the Wawa and Bojangles are on Staples Mill. And go Eagles!!

Nam and 3k Nam at 0z really ramped up totals here in Richmond area. We shall see
