Big Changes with the NAM at 6z Saturday.....looks like most morning model runs have started the NW job.....lets see if it continues through the 12z runs

GEFS 24hr precip panels look like a pretty nice improvement on the latest run.  Am I missing something?

DT is god awful....the early Jan storm he said the GFS was full of Sh*t   It ended up being nearly spot on......this past weekend he barked non stop about the big winter storm that didn't happen for much of Virginia, now barking on this one only to watch it slowly slip away.

The times have really changed when the Euro shows a big storm less than 5 days out and nobody is excited until the GFS shows it.

I know everyone is in Weenie mode but when has anyone ever taken the NAM at 84 seriously.  lol

Something Im sure we have all noticed on the Major models is the Low in a pretty good place in North Carolina.....then as the storm pushes north it actually pulls almost due northwest for a period of 6-12 hours.....Cant say I remember that happening ever in the past winter storms over the years.   What is causing this to happen and is that a viable solution?

That's a lot of ice on top of areas in Virginia that are still trying to recover and get power back on.  Power companies are putting in work this month.

DT is always 6 hours behind on the models....its very odd

May finally have a nice storm in MBY.... Northern Neck of VA   been since 2018.  Euro seems to be done by Friday morning...

im 15 miles from less than 1 or 15 miles from over 6.  Im sure this will work out

Mets in Central VA have no idea what this storm is going to do,  DT has been hedging is first call.  This one may surprise some folks
