    The 3KM clown map seems to be the realistic outcome on this storm. It takes the sleet into consideration here. I dont get it. It clearly doesn't take sleet into consideration...it only does 10-1 snow vs liquid.

    You've got good eyes...looks almost identical to me. Looks a little more juiced with qpf though especially in CNE.

    For the record, I don't think you bake in the 40s all day, I don't think any model has ever shown that.

    Bro..you gotta understand, it's not just about latitude (or longitude) for this event. The litchfield hills have 750', some places 1000', of elevation on you. In thermally marginal events, the snow totals will look like a terrain map. Just how it is.

    Yeah HRRR has a few decent hours of snow here. Still not my cup of tea with the heavy rain after, but maybe you and Kev can net gain/net zero from it. Still gross to me though.

    What trends? GFS just came in amped. And what's the difference between 45 and 42, when it's just dumping rain on top of a few inches of snow at best.
