    Well some of the panels I looked at had Boston starting as rain and then the snow working west to east.

    If the GFS is correct it looks like the coast is going to have quick rain to snow next week. Hopefully this is actual snow on the pavement. I'm done with white rain.

    Back to weather... GFS has some love for SNE on the 22-23. We'll see if it's still there in about 4-5 days.

    fwiw 00z Euro has a low next Sunday tracking just north of 95 into Boston, moving due east and then exploding on EMA. dropping about 8" in about 6hrs. I would love that.

    For our house the problem is/was that its old (about a 105 years) and while we've done renovations to it, it still doesn't have the R value of modern house, by a lot. The house was converted from radiators to baseboard back in the 80's but the outside walls have only had blown in insulation. A gut reno is needed to insulate it the way a newer house would be built today. The boiler does fine until we get much below zero, then the space heaters have to save the day. They did last night.

    Too late... Looks like BOS has about 1.1" in the same time frame as the gfs has about 10".
