    Bars not so much but there Vinyards around the area I think they have a liquor license, not sure about renting rooms.

    Soon Pillow will be Americanwx vacation destination! There are no hotels in Pillow, but there is a campground at the end of town

    It was 66 this morning and a thick fog rolled in. Now up to 71 fog slowly burning off.

    It was another great lightning show last night. I hope some of you got to experience it. We have had several of those this season.

    We don't need downpours that result in several inches of rain. With the cloud cover maybe today will be a fluke.

    The high yesterday was 93 and just a trace of rain from a thunderstorm that seemed to disappate just like that.

    Nws discussion doesn't sound good in regards to the extreme rainfall probability won't take long to get the ground saturated. I have 3.49in for the month here

    And just a few days ago they were something like 3.50in behind for the year.

    Bad storm in terms of rain lots of lightning some wind so far 1.33 in 40 min but an inch fell in about 20 min

    How about that Harrisburg was warmer then I yesterday by 2 degrees, and wetter too I only had .44 rainfall yesterday.

    It's still there but not what it was 30 years ago. That place was crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Now it's just a shell of it's former self.

    Yes, I do about 2 miles as the crow flies from Pillow.. You must be familiar with this area.
