FYSA - There will be plenty of melts if next weekend's deluge verifies with cold/dry following or threats of more cutters in the week following. It should be a good show.
That's what I thought. Not as "grinchy" if there's no snow already on the ground. It's only especially "grinchy" when our good pack gets stolen from under our feet in the days leading up to Christmas.
I think you all should do a year or two in a non-snowy climate. It helps with your patience.
I experienced a ratter in DC (1" sleet, dusting of snow for the entire winter) which makes these frustrating periods easier to deal with.
We wait until Friday once the northern SWs get sampled. If we see positive moves before then...gravy. If we see negative moves before then...good riddance.
