Primarily rain, yeah. Still getting those bursts with some snow mixing in but we'll see if it tries anything more with the heavy stuff moving in shortly.

Temperature is down to 34 here now.

The CMC actually shifted to something closer to that too, just not to that extreme level.

What is the gfs doing down here in swCT? That is a lot of snow, even on the kuchera maps.
That would be hilarious if that actually happened as it shows.

Have had some snow mix in a bit over the past hour during the heavier bursts, but primarily rain. Down to 35.

That’s not bad for the WOR crew. Ugly for the rest of CT.
Better than the 18z run at least... drops a lot more across the state than I'm expecting at this point.

Hey man, it's coming down here too. Also 36. I'm sure now that there's some big flakes mixing in with the rain at this point.
Just looked outside and actually saw a few cat paws with the rain... kind of surprised.

Heavy rain and 36.

Moderate rain continues. Down to 37.

Yeah, I'm down to 37 here in Plainville. I am up a little bit in elevation. I'm so curious what I'm going to wake up to. But wake up to just rain then I'll know we're not going to get much snow, but if I wake up to snow or at least a mix then I think that we can get a little pasting tomorrow
A couple hundred feet lower here, but also just dropped to 37... have a feeling I'll be just on the outside here with Wolcott and elevated Bristol getting a good hit. Seems to be changing over there already.

I doubt higher. Think 6ish is reasonable for you guys. The entire area from you down to Hartford on I-84 is probably my biggest uncertainty right now.
I could see a bit of everything. Overperformer western areas and underperformer east.
Expecting the worst but hoping for the best here... at least it's dropped to 38 and isn't still above 40 like around Hartford.

Down to 39 and moderate rain. An all too familiar observation.

A comical swing on the GFS. Low is way west of 18z.

It's out to 24 hours lol
If anything the southern vort looks a tick more amped through 27 hours. Northern vort is too though.

Big jump towards that more elongated solution on the long range HRRR.

Looks more like the GFS.

UKMET pivotal clown map gives 1" to areas the CMC gives 30". Gotta love 'em.
-
CMC almost trying to show some kind of valley convergence in CT, lol... that'd be the day. Clown map with like 31" in East Hartford.
-
Lock in the CMC and call it a day.
-
Much more northern stream on the NAM compared to 18z.
-
Looks like it consolidated quicker that run than 12z.

Real ugly look.

A slushy 0.6” here. Snowing but not very heavily on the edge of this slot.
