Looks like another mini squall here.
-
Looks like about 0.6" here
-
Still coming down moderately for now behind the returns. That was a pretty epic 15 min.
-
Can barely see the houses across the street at the moment... ending any minute based on radar though
-
Complete whiteout, wind is cranking.
-
We rip. Wind picking up.
-
Here we go. Starting to get heavy.

Squall right on the doorstep now... snow picking up
-
Light snow has begun here.
-
Looks like about 1" of wet snow fell after the changeover. 1.2" including before it changed to rain.
Still snowing... lightly. Probably like 3.5" on the NW side of town.
-
Coming down at a good clip with big flakes... maybe another 30 min left though.
-
Over to snow now and temp down to 31.

Wow, that's a brutal break. I remember there was an elevation event in Feb '92 in ORH...not a huge deal, but towns like Paxton, Holden and the NW side of ORH had 2" of paste and we had nothing about 2 miles away an 200 feet lower. I remember seeing cars covered driving past as we waited for the bus for school. I was really bummed when I figured out where they were coming from.
Pretty abrupt transition driving up too... rain and slush at Stop & Shop but go half a mile up to Walmart and there's an inch.

Any elevation difference?
I'm at about 220 feet... up there is near 300.

I drove up a few miles to the NW side of town, and was greeted by just over 2" of snow:
My yard, 3 miles south and east:
Unlucky.

Rain/Snow line is super close to me. Raining in Southington and Newington/Wethersfield. All snow here.
Yep... it's been all rain here since the initial slushy 1/4" or so. Painfully close.
-
Rain/snow mix here, maybe a slushy 0.2" or so. 33F

Temp up to 32 here with flurries.

We weenie flake. 28F

18z NAM looks like it would go pretty nuts at the end of the run
-
A few of the 00z EPS try to throw some decent snow back from that Tuesday coastal. Interesting.
