Totally anecdotal, but I’ve heard there haven’t been any ear infections in the kids either. top ten day today.

That’s how I’m thinking. Below average season weather wise but the skiing was fantastic for 2 months straight. There’s something to be said for consistent powder surface to ski on. Can’t remember a stretch without a thaw like we had this year. skied killington today and it was firm as expected.

Sounds like some of you are talking as if winter is done. Was it over when the germans bombed pearl harbour?

I still have patches of snow on north facing wooded areas and significant piles down in croton. and its st. paddy's day. sticking with my A-. That being said, I want more snow down here and up in ski country.

We’ve been snow covered down here continuously since 2/1. That’s a dang good run. hopeful we get a little more fun before it’s over.

Jeez, you guys are tough graders. A minus. Long duration pack. A couple of big storms. My lake is still mostly frozen. Solid winter look and feel throughout the heart of winter. What more can you ask for at this latitude/elevation? demerit for the grinch obviously.

Ugggh. I had to replace the water line under my driveway about 15 years ago. No joy in that. winter look holding strong in my backyard.

We had about 2-3” before it changed to mist. Skiing surface was great. Rained a bit and now seems to be mixing with giant parachutes. I’ll take that as a good sign.

I think you hit on something here. The Berkshire towns don’t have that skier/surfer outdoorsy feel. More Lexus than Subaru and pickups.

Agreed. My in laws live in the berks, and every time I have to go there, I’m like, this is kinda like nne, but less.

To be fair, it was in the mid 40’s there yesterday. pleasantly surprised how good the ski surface was at Lincoln peak, even down towards the base. The upper mountain is in great shape.

I’m aware that you can make a technical argument that you’re part of Long Island, but really your worlds away in urban Brooklyn. I just drove up to vt to keep my mid winter vibe going.
