  1. i think GFS will be further north, just based on the look up in maine
  2. I'm with Ray, 8-12 is moderate for this storm.. but allot depends on other factors like 8-12" in 1 hr would be epic.. 8-12 in 3 days not so much.. any winds? how heavy is this stuff? I mean if we had 8-12 of paste with 50 mph winds it would not be moderate to me.
  3. On then NAM those heavier amounts is that OES CJ around boston NE or you think further south? if yes I might be smoking exhaust
  4. can't figure out how to multi-quote and multiple pages, but thanks for the replies, I gather we will do better than 10:1 .. cheers!! getting pumped!
  5. did the same, low seems to be just off the nw virginia coast over delaware on both
  6. yeah, I think someone said metro west would be sub 20 during the storm so ratios should be good, but I know there is more to ratios than just temps.. I know Dendrite is the house expert on that.
  7. it's never too early to talk ratio's but I'm thinking this is not a 10:1..? correct METS?
  8. still seems to have that axis of heavy snow further north and west than other models.. PA, CNY do well
  9. it cut back on QPF but still looks good for a general 10"+ region wide.. definitely trended a bit more towards other models
  10. NAM is first up to bat folks.. hopefully we don't trend away from a solid hit.
  11. yeah, if this trends weaker in future runs I will burn my mac and pc and android phones and iphones
  12. hmm. I think you had me on that line.. but I think we are mostly aligned like usual, your just more analytical than me
  13. I think folks are putting less weight on it.. when all other guidance shows a different scenario, you need to consider if it's out to lunch .. I mean it could be right .. 12z should start to answer that question imo. I'm worried for my area because of the GFS, so I'm definitely not discounting it 100%
  14. yeah I can envision allot of folks screaming at radarscope when they can't get that shield just a few miles north..
  15. I'm OK not to JP for this storm at least lol, it's been a long time since we see a nice storm, looking forward to it and happy for those that get clobbered
  16. everything looks good for folks south of the NH/MA border, no question that S.Pike crew will do well, 12"+ is a lock The question is north, currently feel 8-10" for this area, with the due east movement and maybe some dry air to overcome at the onset that sounds reasonable. Hopefully we get a couple of bumps north next 36hrs.
  17. Yeah if that does not scoot east then it’s a massive hit
  18. It’s slower than other models also.. looking closer looks like this would make everyone south of Manchester happy
