    The 00z GFS still not quite on board with the coastal storm but hearing the CMC has gone full Euro.

    It looks to me like the 18z GFS made a move towards the Euro rainfall wise, just not quite to the same extent.

    The 12z Euro gives the entire NYC metro some much needed rain with some areas possibly picking up to much of a good thing especially as you head further east.

    Even if we don't see any/much rain from this there will be a prolonged period of coastal impacts that's for sure. There will probably be at least some minor coastal flooding and beach erosion.

    I think that shows the volatility with this storm. I am curious to see what the ensembles and future model runs have to say.

    I wouldn't be so quick to buy into or dismiss the mid-late week coastal storm threat. For now just monitor and see what the next few model runs show.
