It's been the norm for the last several years! Warmth in February and well below temps and above average snow in March and April.

I was by the lake this morning and where the Tuck and little Tennessee come into the lake the water level is really high for February.  Usually,  it's still flowing at this time of year!. 

At this rate Fontana lake will be at full pool in a week.  Crazy!!

Never fails. Cold March and April on the way!

I'll definitely take some nice weather for now. It will most likely be another miserable March and April again. 

It's even worse on the ridge tops.

If we drive non-stop its 415 but we always have to hit Starbucks.

 

My wife and I say we will be here full time...one day.  We still have a kid in the house (17 years old) so the possibility will open up sooner vs later.  

That's not too bad. Enjoy it! Sounds fantastic.

I had the pleasure of spending my Sunday afternoon cutting up two trees that fell on my rental house. Well... really it was one that fell on another slowing it down before it hit the house.

Very fine snow here and everything is iced over! Wind is howling too!
