Pretty much the same here. Just had to share my generator with 2 other family households to keep their chest freezers from thawing. Heated water bed saved my ass!

The general public loves what I like. Boring weather is what makes the masses happy! Joe Nobody is is having the time of his life grilling tonight, knowing his life is about to suck ass in the morning, but the weather in begging him to fire up that grill. Even his kids are happy to be eating outside tonight.

Makes me wonder if people even go outside anymore. It’s almost like they look out the window and are disappointed a catastrophe isn’t happening.

Ah, no! We may get rain on Tuesday/Wednesday, but unless the fire department needs to pump out basements, it will “meh” and the focus will return to “drought”.

As a farmer, you can always pump water to a crop. You can’t dry out a saturated field! Wet just breeds disease also. Learned this the hard way years ago.
