The only people that dismiss a site here are those talking about a tree canopy in Central Park. all you have to do is land Newark airport and see why it’s a hot hole. Low flat slab in swampland surrounded by industry.
how many nyc residents live in a forest?

Fake heat. Fake sensor. Cherry picked site. Too much blacktop. It actually didn't feel that bad.
let's see the weekly average on sunday

If only there was a forum on this site to discuss climate change...sigh
Currently 80F/DP 70F out there. Another disgusting day on tap but it feels a little less intense. Current forecast is for a high of 89F. If it stays under 90F, I'll count that as a small victory.
it's not a climate change discussion

Tim climate change is a fact and cannot be disproven! The Chester County data clearly supports cyclical climate change!!

Showers and t-storm chances will continue through the weekend...not a washout but keep those umbrellas handy. We do need the rain. Yesterday should be the last time this year most spots in the county see a 90 degree reading. Here in East Nantmeal we failed to exceed 90 degrees for the 2nd straight summer. This is the 4th time in my 20 years of local observations in EN that we did not reach 90 even rounded in a summer.
your station is nestled in a bunch of trees. of course you're not hitting 90. lol

What’s your point? We’ve had a north wind off the sound most of the month, keeping LGA cool.
is the park on the water too?
the temperature just doesn't exist in the middle of queens

i'm sorry you're upset that these heat waves keep happening

all the downplaying when i posted ensemble images and now newark could get its latest 100 ever. why should anyone take this place seriously?

ewr 94 which is 4 degrees ahead of yesterday
-
ewr is probably going to get a seabreeze later this afternoon. the little compressional boost ahead of it could be enough for 100
-
ewr is already 90

Low of 80 at LGA on September 7. Has to be a record?
that breaks the previous record high min by 6 degrees if there's no convection later
