    I agree. I do like the small events it is just me getting sucked into the model QPF growing and growing a couple of days ahead of time and then.......which again I should know better than this following for so many years. Definitely a good ride in February thus far.

    Yep. I have always looked for that big one always and more times than not been let down. Just reel me in from time to time. LOL. I have been following this for years and I never change. This is still a great winter thus far. * and I should say great in comparison to last winter. :-)

    EURO still has the weekend storm, next Tuesday and Thursday. Gulf of Mexico is open for business. WOW next Thursday if this is going west of us so not sure about this:

    I get so sucked into the NAM precip panels that is my problem that I need to stop that. I should know better after all these years in this hobby the NAM is mostly overdone on precip on every storm. I need to remember to cut those panels in half.

    Don't get me wrong 2-4" of snow, any snow is good with me. But the models are just teasing right now with these NS systems. Next Tuesday might be the first one with a full phase NS and SS phase that for us down here would be ICE/Rain and N PA would capitalize. I am fine with with that. I just want a blossom storm instead of an NS storm. Models will change many times over the next couple of days as the did with the Weekend Storm. Mag and others can tell me wrong I am an rookie at this and I am fine with it.

    so many shortwaves on the GFS none can't amplify it is one after the another. Maybe this is our issue but the Pacific hose keeps coming east. We need a phase so bad with the NS and SS. I don't really care about seasonal totals.

    Let's hope...GFS creates a better radar. But the weekend event is worst.

    I do some interaction with the Radar extent of the moderate snow down south. But we need some rates here to make anything close to 3-4”NAM of course cuts back.

    Yeah I agree I saw the GFS. And what Blizz just posted it just looked like the heavier stuff in the south was heading more west to east. Instead of more northeast.
