  1. It's actually hilarious at this point! I'm actually cheering on the donut hole! How long can Tulsa go snowless! Just incredible at how bad this BUST was!
  2. I don't know what happened, but Mike Collier just did a live Facebook and stated Tulsa will be lucky to get an inch. We were in a donut hole, literally. I haven't seen a flake today. I guess the storm tracked too far south?? Any ideas what happened besides being too warm? Was is dry air?
  3. It's 38 in Tulsa right now. I'm not sure we are gonna make 4 inches right now.
  4. Oz GFS definitely pulled north. (to my untrained eye) I've got family in Morris, about 35 miles south-east of Tulsa...they look to be near the bullseye. I live at 61st and Lewis in Tulsa, about a mile south of I-44. I would thrilled with 3 inches, but if we can squeak out 6?? Man, that would be amazing!
  5. 18z NAM 3K. Still snowing throughout much of the area at the end of 60hrs. 10.1 ratio is definitely too high, but probably more like 6.1 or 7.1 isn't too crazy.
  6. I think I'd be a little more excited with a strong HP in the northern plains.
  7. Still so far apart.... where that low tracks is HUGE! GFS tracks north and east, Euro goes south, and Canadian is sort of in the middle. Hmmmmm interesting! Canada: American: Euro:
  8. ^^^Good 'ol Mikey Morgan never disappoints!
  9. Hey Everybody! Glad to be model watching and snow dreaming with you all again!! Just glanced at a few of the 00z runs...eek! I'm not a fan of blistering cold with no snow! Lol! So, here's hoping we get a 2011 type of storm this year! Hate to see all the cold air wasted though!
  10. It began sleeting here in Tulsa at 8:30 this morning and it was literally pouring sleet with some thunder!! I just can’t help but wonder how much snow this would’ve been if all layers were below freezing! I thought I could beat the storm and go to the grocery store. Roads are horrible, so stay home if you can and stay safe!
  11. My brother lives in Morris. He said it was pouring snow, but he said they have had more sleet than anything. Back up into Tulsa IMBY, the drifting has become pretty bad and I can’t tell where my yard ends and the road begins. So much wind just blowing around. BUT it sure is pretty!
  12. Sleet/Snow mix coming down now in Tulsa! My family in Ardmore/Lone Grove (SC OK) called and said they are getting pelted with massive sleet and freezing rain! It’s freezing on contain with the wind…ugh..the worst!
  13. I moved to midtown Tulsa, 1/2 mile south of I-44 near Lewis, it’s sleeting pretty good right now! ETA: I’m so excited, my Hubby installed a ton of ring cameras, so now I can watch the snow in a time lapse! Lol we don’t share the same excitement about weather!
  14. I'm not a met on here, but I wonder which model is the best at his range? NAM, 3KNAM, HRRR, etc Anyone know?
  15. Well, the Decision Page came down to reality! LOL
  16. You would think as long as I’ve been watching models, I should’ve known NOT to fall for some of those “Big numbers” that were being thrown out. I’m going with 22 with sleet and freezing rain for Tulsa with maybe 2 inches of snow on top. #IHateThisHobby Tell me when the NW trend stops!
  17. That’s a LOT of ice, but even so, HOLY CRAP!
  18. Well, that Euro run stunk for most of our area....meh! Seems like it just doesn't get cold enough. I don't see much agreement with any of the surface features between the models either. When will this be sampled?
  19. I've only seen flurries this year in Tulsa. I'm praying February is better but that ridge is pretty stout! Good year the further east you are.
  20. I live in midtown Tulsa now, so I'll hug the rap for now. LOL
  21. What an awful “winter”. Aside from some mood flakes, this blows. Storms keep blowing up to our east. We badly need moisture in Oklahoma…the drought is spreading quickly.
