    Weather underground starting its slow creep downward on rain for tonight in my backyard. Was over .71 and is now at .20

    The way the rain misses this section of loudoun it's no surprise most of the farmland was sold for housing development...not much money in dirt and weeds

    I like checking the weather underground site for my location for chits and giggles. This morning it said 100% chance storms up to .71 of rain then it said 56% chance .34 then 34% and .04 now says 17% and 0.0. Radar has that skip it look to it. Good luck to anyone who gets it.

    I had given up but around 10pm lots of thunder and lightning and wind and heavy rain. It was welcome sound for sure.

    Been a pretty disappointing run here with zero rain for quite some time. Today looks to be the same...seems like a dead zone. Meh...hopefully a hurricane hits soon

    Pretty interesting watching the stuff out west dry up in the middle while storms roll to the north and south of course having lived here long enough I didn't use the word interesting back in the day

    It's actually pretty comfortable out noticeably less muggy it doesn't have the feel of a severe evening

    Yeah noticed yesterday them flying around...they are taking a liking to my crape myrtle. It has been quite awhile since i've seen them this active around here.

    For my area today feels like one of those probably not kind of days. My money is on Tuesday actually for any significant rain....severe doesn't seem likely IMBY
