  1. The TT map will be crazy in the lower LSV with the sleet.
  2. Sort of splits the LSV with the timing. CTP is nammed. Lower LSV has a sleet bomb.
  3. A few years ago we could have assumed the Nam was going to show 1-2 feet but it has not been so "Nammy" this year.
  4. Those people who pay me are even less enthusiastic about the HRRR than some others here. Thanks! I got stuck with some work.
  5. That is going to suck when it blows that snow and freezing temps your way. LOL. Props to you for commenting today that it was below freezing at your place.
  6. Much different than some of the other progs I saw but you are right, this is usually the failure that happens with post front precip.
  7. The snow map is one panel behind. It would go up at hour 49. Example, the radar shows snow over all of Cumberland county at 47 but the snow map shows nothing. Plus more snow post 48.
  8. Long Range HRRR shows snow? Throw it out, right? LOL.
  9. Euro and CMC which is weird to be pitting the CMC against the Rgem...though the Rgem is 6 hours more "current".
  10. Rgem drops 1-2" of rain in the LSV BEFORE any snow. This is one wet system. A flooder.
  11. Scary when that happens....loss of control. Not just the car but ones well being.
  12. Speaking of which, it hit 30 at MDT this morning.
  13. A numbing 25 here with a heavy. snow like, frost.
  14. The HRRR has been solid all winter....30 hours out, 20 hours out....much less flopping than some other mesos.
  15. That is exciting any month of the cold season.
  16. The cold weekend into next week is quite impressive on all models.
  17. The Long Range HRRR will be out shortly. Between the noise and ill advised 'It's junk" comments, it did pretty well down our way today. It might give a little hint of Saturday with the 0Z run. Tomorrows runs will get into the meat of it.
  18. I thought you had access to all the Euro panels?
  19. What the hell is a dirty eye ball? LOL. Stink eye maybe?
  20. I agree that ice seems suspicious. Rgem's precip panels were hearty but ice killed the snow totals. If we have blowing snow Mid March that is going to be pretty cool but 2" does not cut it...4-6. If my trash can blows over I want it to turn into a drift point that requires the plow boy to make more than one approach at it. :-).
  21. You went for 6-8" to 1-2". Probably some ice in there that is limiting a bit. Rgem has quite a bit of ice.
  22. The GFS has started the north trend already. Ugh 12Z v 18Z. GFS following the Nam's lead? Frustrating but precip outpacing cold is not surprising.
