  1. Well not next week but the first week of April. Frankly I think the GFS looks workable for 3-4 days after that weekend. The trough is too far off the coast but its also 300 hours out.
  2. Also, after that front passes NEXT Sunday, game is on as to chances as to reading what the GFS has to offer.
  3. I am not at all joking...my heat is on right now. I have it set to 65 and it is 61 out. It has only come on once or twice today but it is on right now. LOL
  4. I wfh most of the time and still takes me 30 min from wake up to sitting in my chair. LOL
  5. LOL. Don't forget your AM Blizz report as well. I always shower in the morning so that alone is 15-20 min.
  6. It takes me 30-60 min to get ready for work with eating and everything so if I got up at 8, I would not be starting working until 9....which is 2 hours later than reality. LOL. A lot of larger companies that have WFH have software checking that the employee is present and working as early as usual.
  7. It is 58 here now so rising fairly quickly. I was surprised how good it felt out which was why I checked. Over here it was much warmer feeling yesterday. A/C is still covered as well. Hate to have to turn it on in early to mid March. Though in 1990, when it got into the 80's 4 days in a row this time of the month, it would have been full blast.
  8. LOL. Now I know one. I am not sure I could sleep until 8.
  9. Not at all, I was reporting a low number. I was surprised that it was only 52 at that point. It feels it out as well. But we know that general area south of Harrisburg went all HIA this past summer :-).
  10. Y'all are getting a head start on your summer HIA thing. LOL. Actually if you look on Wunderground your temp is pretty common. MDT's is low and I am sitting at 800' so...
  11. Maybe you add some more A's and make it even more confusing. My high school was AA when I went there...now it is AAA in some stuff, AA in others and then there are the divisions. LOL. Somehow now my Bubblers have to play the much larger Waynesboro in basketball.
  12. We have been more civilized than weather talk it seems :-).
  13. Only 52 here right now. Much cooler than yesterday at this time.
  14. Yea, it is a fine line. It is the same way with school, Parents come and take their kids out of school, for the day or week, for all kinds of reasons that did not happen "in the past". I have read a lot of article son this, over the past 24 hours, and the benefits that keep getting pushed are less heart attacks, more spending and less car crashes and less robberies. I would have thought something like this would have been better to go to a national vote so everyone can think of their own likes and dislikes and vote accordingly.
  15. Yea, I mentioned that yesterday but if they move school back an hour then it may negate. That would also necessitate businesses moving back their employees start times in some cases.
  16. Ha. The only pitfall I see with that is parents...having to adjust work times. I know a lot of people work at home now but not that many.
  17. Some talk in schools about doing their own changes. School starts at one time during the winter and a different time in the fall and spring.
  18. I know, that is what we are talking about...the virtues, trials and tribulations of it. They did it in 1974 but permanent became one year when it switched back.
  19. I think the adjustment need, to stay on Standard time, would be to delay spring sports a bit. I know that pushes it into more potential heat. But if we were on Standard time on April 15th, for example, that is 6:48PM Sunset. May 15 would be 7:18PM. It is easy to see why it has been hard to adjust though. People want a different time in winter vs. summer. Many have no need to sit outside in December at 5:30PM except in areas of the country where it is tolerable (re: Arizona not changing times.)
