  1. I will opine that I think it is tough to get constantly similar weather in Spring. The average high for today, at MDT, is only 63. It is way above seasonal today. The rain is unfortunate though.
  2. I always love a good harbinger! MU punting April!?
  3. And some are just talking weather :-). Though I usually will not talk about average temps and non anomalous weather. Tracking this stuff now, in Dec-Feb, would be a bore at that time but now it is off the beaten path weather. A chance of snow on Easter.
  4. It would have to be to support that quick shot of snow Sunday night (just west of the LSV)
  5. MDT is in the uppers 60's at 2PM Sat, on the 12Z Nam, then near 50 three hours later...in the Sat high temp discussion.
  6. Is this the thread for spring/May snow storms? How about Mothers Day 1977? https://www.pennlive.com/news/2020/05/may-snow-flurries-rare-in-central-pa-but-not-unusual.html
  7. This is a rite of the Spring vs. snow fight each year. Whenever I see this, I know we have more snow to come!
  8. My furnace is still on and shovel still at hand!
  9. A timing thing for sure. More guidance is on his side this AM with 68-72 being common. But the GFS still has 50 for high on Sat. The Nam has low 60's and Rgem near 70.
  10. My zones have snow Sunday night and Monday. NWS going full coldinista.
  11. Lol. The sat not breaking 50 is worst case scenario as well.
  12. The post said upper 70's for Saturday. It could get to 60 or 70 Saturday, depends on the front, but it could also struggle to break 50. But either way, there is no guidance suggesting mdt is in the upper 70's Fri and Sat. Even hottie ec would only be low 70's.
  13. Come again? Lol. Mdt may not break 50 on Saturday and Friday looks like a 60's type of day.
  14. They heard that Training neighbor was going to come after them and measure grass height!
  15. EC still a cornucopia of winter weather post Easter
  16. 25 degree difference for highs on Thursday when comparing the faster moving GFS (front) vs. the CMC with its near 90 depiction.
  17. 90 past nooners and quite pleasant out. 67 sunny degrees.
  18. PAweather is a lot closer than me, right? You know how I am about my grass...its like a child. LOL. So I would not let it grow too long. But it will need mowed this week.
